This unique DR-2 is the world’s smallest fiber optical gyroscope (FOG) based mapping probe. The DR-2 has been designed to map small diameter duct like infrastructure such as telecom ducts, pressure sewers and house connections.
Model Number: OMU DR-2
Enquiry about DR-2 Pipeline Mapping System
The DR-2 is a FOG-gyroscope based mapping tool specifically developed for generating accurate As-Built maps small diameter ducts. The standard DR-2 has an outside diameter of just 36mm and is suitable for a pipe ID of 40mm (1.5”). Optionally, a spacer set is available to scale the unit incrementally up to pipes and ducts with an ID of maximum 75mm (3.0”).
The DR-2 is robust and easy to operate. Typically, an As-Built of a pipe segment up to 1000m can be generated in 1 hour and output can be instantly viewed in most common GIS platforms.
