Initially developed for towing behind a CCTV crawler, the compact size of the ABM-80 has become the ‘go-to’ tool for pipes and ducts that have tight bends or unusual obstructions.
With a length of 400mm (16“) and a weight of 2kg (4lb), the ABM-80 is easy to handle and is suitable for pipes with an ID range of 80mm to 500mm ID (3.2 – 20“).
Wit a slight adaptation, the ABM-80 can be used to perform flat floor profiling.
Enquiry about OMU ABM-80
The ABM-80 is a MEMS-gyroscope based mapping tool specifically developed for
generating accurate As-Built maps of short distance buried pipelines. The ABM-80 fits in
pipes with an internal diameter of 80-500mm (3.2-20”).
The ABM-80 is very compact and easy to operate and is ideal for waste water, HDD’s and
similar shaped pipeline segments up to 200m in length. Typically, an As-Built profile of a
pipe segment can be generated in 30 minutes. Data processing requires mere minutes
and output can be instantly viewed in most common GIS platforms such as AutoCAD,
ESRI and Microstation.
